Currently serving as CEO of Whitecoat Technologies (whitecoatai.com), Mr. Liam Woodard is an accomplished healthcare executive with a record of accomplishment of leading, founding, and serving successful companies by building exceptional teams, driving strategic partnerships, innovative solutions, streamlining revenue growth, while anchoring his businesses in operational excellence.
During the final stages of launching Whitecoat, Liam served as Vice President of Client Partnerships at Monogram Health (2022 375M Series C funding), where he was responsible for managing key partnerships with leading healthcare organizations, including Humana, Advent Health, and Point32Health. In this role, he was responsible for a portfolio generating half a billion dollars in annual revenue and managing over $400m in projected medical expenses across multiple clients.
With an extensive background in value-based care and healthcare administration, Liam previously held positions at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As the Assistant Director of Operations in the Office of Value Transformation where he played a pivotal role in designing and implementing innovative programs to enhance patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. Helping develop home-grown direct-to-employer bundles including maternity, surgical and medical weight loss, osteoarthritis, spine, total joint, cochlear implant, kidney stones, and substance use disorder all with zero-out-of-pocket to the patients eligible for the program.
Also while at VUMC, Liam led the department of Medical and Surgical Weight Loss where his team achieved a 212% increase in volume for the market's first bariatrics bundle, resulting in a 114% increase in market share. Liam also served as the Manager of Operations in the Division of Interventional Pain Management, where he consistently drove growth, improved patient satisfaction, and optimized revenue cycle performance.
Prior to his tenure at Vanderbilt, Liam served as the Executive Director of The Laser Spine Institute, where he successfully managed an ambulatory surgery center, clinic, and diagnostic departments. He demonstrated exceptional leadership by overseeing a team of 70+ staff members, achieving a 57% reduction in disposable medical supply costs and maintaining a surgery center capacity utilization of 101%.
Liam's career also encompasses entrepreneurial ventures, including co-founding Whitecoatai, founding Pontem Healthcare, and co-founding Own The Zone Sports. These experiences have honed his expertise in start-up development, healthcare innovation, and business strategy.
Liam holds a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification from SSGI and holds advanced degrees in healthcare administration and healthcare education.
A sought-after speaker and thought leader, Liam has presented at prominent industry conferences such as the Becker's Annual Conference, BRI Network Value-Based Care Summit, and World Health Congress.
