Richard is an experienced telemedicine physician services operations executive. He has developed and implemented numerous hospital based telemedicine services and presented to national audiences on the use of telemedicine in the inpatient setting including the Society of Hospital Medicine and the American Telemedicine Association.

When he is not spending time with his family he can be found promoting telemedicine physician service expansion and adoption. Richard earned his Doctorate of Healthcare Administration and Healthcare Leadership from the Medical University of South Carolina, an MPH in health services management from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and a Bachelor of Science from Utah State University.
